The film A Room with a View, based on the mythical novel (1908) by Morgan Forster, was mostly shot in Florence. On the occasion of its 30th anniversary, James Ivory — appearing undisturbed, gentle and leisurely — Helena Bonham Carter — visibly altered — and Julian Sands — so cheerful despite calming Helena — attended the screening of the film at the Cinema Odeon in Florence on the night of October 5. Ivory was earlier at the Palazzo Vecchio to receive by the city’s mayor, Dario Nardella, the «Fiorino d’oro». On September 7, Ivory will be at La Compagnia cinema during the screening of three of his films: Return to Howards End, Mr. & Mrs. Bridge and Heat & Dust. On October 7 at 5:00 p. m. the cast of the film will attend the meeting «Tea with a View» at the Harold Acton Library.

Con motivo del 30.º aniversario del film Una habitación con vistas, basada en la mítica novela (1908) de Morgan Forster y rodada mayoritariamente en Florencia, James Ivory —impertérrito, gentil y pausado—, Helena Bonham Carter —visiblemente alterada— y Julian Sands —risueño mientras calmaba a Helena— asistieron a la proyección de la película en el Cinema Odeon de Florencia la noche del 5 de octubre. Ivory había sido recibido en el Palazzo Vecchio algunas horas antes donde el alcalde de la ciudad, Dario Nardella, le condecoró con el “Fiorino d’oro”. El 7 de septiembre Ivory estará en el cine La Compagnia durante la proyección de tres de sus películas: Regreso a Howards End, Esperando a Mr. Bridge y Heat & Dust. El 7 de octubre a las 17 horas el elenco del film asistirá al encuentro «Tea with a View» en la Harold Acton Library.
