Castello Ginori di Querceto, a medieval village, formerly controlled the Val di Cecina, from Volterra to the sea. The village, the ancient castle and the Querceto estate belonged for centuries to Ginori Lisci, a noble Florentine family, known throughout the world for its precious porcelain, and now dealing with a high-quality wine production. In the heart of the Val di Cecina, between Volterra and the Etruscan Coast, the Ginori Castle perches on top of a hill in Querceto an enchanting medieval village whose long and rich history has blended for over two centuries with the history of the Marchesi Ginori Lisci. Today the village is an integral part of the local economy with its thriving winery, the events it organizes, and the hospitality offered in its charming apartments.
The most distinctive feature of this delightful village, far from the fast pace of modern life, is its authenticity, noticeable in every detail: the stones of the old houses, the smile of the inhabitants, the untouched natural surroundings. It is a world of forgotten sounds and smells, of breathtaking views and sunsets. El pueblo, el antiguo castillo y la finca Querceto pertenecieron durante siglos a los Ginori Lisci, una noble familia florentina, conocida especialmente por su preciosa porcelana, y que en la actualidad también desarrolla una producción de vino de alta calidad. En el corazón de Val di Cecina, entre Volterra y la Costa Etrusca, el Castillo de Ginori se alza en la cima de una colina en Querceto, antiguo pueblo cuya larga y rica historia se ha mezclado durante más de dos siglos con la historia de los marqueses Ginori Lisci. En la actualidad, Querceto y el castillo son parte integral de la economía local con su próspera bodega, los eventos que organiza y la hospitalidad que ofrecen en sus acogedores apartamentos.
